Central Wastewater Treatment Plant Influent Pump Station

The pump station consists of four 800HP pumps and two 1000HP pumps. It included bar screens and odor control. It also features connection points for two existing City-owned 4,160V portable generators. The plant electrical distribution system consists of two main 13.2kV substations with several loop feeders between the switchgear at each substation. GAI electrical scope for this project included the design of a new primary distribution loop (with modifications for connection at each substation) providing underground power feeders through the plant to provide electrical service for the new pump station, plus all substation yard facilities.
