GAI provided the electrical distribution and controls design for this project that included replacing all electrical components. The existing electrical building, transformers, switchgear, MCC, and control panels are being demolished and replaced with new equipment. Two 300HP motors for high service pumps are being replaced. The power utility supplies one 34.5kV overhead line to the pump station. 300kVA transformers are installed to power the pump motors and valves. New control panels being installed include numerous valve control panels, a ground storage tank relay panel, five local control stations for the pumps, five starters for the high service pump motors, and one MCC.
