The project consists of the design of a booster pump station at Twin Oak water treatment plant to pump water to the new ground storage tank at Old Pearsall Road and also a booster pump station to pump water into two separate pressure plains.
The pump station at Twin Oaks consisted of six 1250HP/4160V pumps and variable frequency drives. The project consisted of designing the electrical and instrumentation system for the pump station and associated structure. The PLC system was integrated into the existing control system at the plant. The ground storage and booster pump station consist of five 1500HP/4160V pumps and variable frequency drives and four 400HP/4160V soft starters.
